The new Triple A Baseball Team coming to Northern Nevada will be named "The Reno Aces."

The Reno Aces ~ Welcome Home!
The Reno Aces are an affiliate of Arizona Diamondbacks, part of the Pacific Coast League, and will begin play in Reno, Nevada during the 2009 spring season.
A contest was held earlier this year to help name the new baseball team coming to Northern Nevada. Over 3,500 entries were received. The winner who submitted "The Reno Aces" has yet to be announced.
Currently, a new $50 million stadium is under construction in downtown Reno and is scheduled for completion in February 2009. The stadium will have seating for 6,500 people and lawn seating for 3,500 people.
The developer, SK Baseball, also plans to build retail shops, restaurants, and an outdoor plaza scheduled to open in the fall of 2009.
The first pitch at the new stadium is scheduled for April 17, 2009! Local officials are planning a sell out crowd of 10,000 in attendance. Click here to order tickets for the 2009 season!
Congratulations and Good Luck Reno Aces!!
