How do you know if it is a sellers market in your area? Well here in Reno, NV we know we are in a sellers market when and if we receive the following email that was sent to 96 Reno Real Estate agents yesterday:
I wanted to extend my humble appreciation for your interest in my client's home and quite frankly, we had a lengthy 4 hour review last night of all of the 97 offers that were presented. Unfortunately, only "one" could be chosen and my client's have identified that buyer, whose terms were the cleanest, most stable, and not just the "highest" price. All my best to you and your clients and if you wish to call me to discus; please understand, I may not have the physical ability to handle everyone's questions immediately. Thanks!"
Yep folks, it appears it's a sellers market here in Northern Nevada! 97 offers on just one HAFA approved short sale listing in Reno, NV that was listed for sale on the MLS for one week. Whether or not the listing agent received a full 97 offers has not been verified, but I am sure there were plenty that the agent and the client had to go over before choosing the best one.
Good times! It is no wonder we are all tired at the end of each day.
