Terrie, Heuy Lewis was one of my favorites when I was a teenager. I didn't even know they were still playing. These all sound great!
You have so many great things going on in and around your area. I'm getting a sour attitude toward my neck of the woods - - they need to get their heads out of the sand. Better yet, I need to escape. ;-)
Terrie,
It sounds as though there will be some good music and fun times!!
Terrie, sounds great. Its no summerfest (ha ha), but hey, huey lewis and the news? Fun stuff!!
Jane ~ Huey Lewis and The News was one of my favorites as well. They played in Reno a few times in the 80's.
Susie ~ Feel free to call me and come out for a visit! A change of scenery always does a body/soul some good!
Don ~ Thank you!
Kristin~ Haha, no summer-fest just a little jazz! These festivals are always a lot of fun and bring out a lot of people!
That sounds like a lot of fun. There is nothing like live music, for me. I have seen Huey Lewis and The News a couple of times, they put on a good show.
Terrie - What a great post! Thanks! We tend to take the beautiful Tahoe basin for granted ... It's truly a gem and we are lucky to have it in our own back yard! Thanks!
Terrie - This is a fantastic post and I'm featuring it in All Things Northern Nevada :-) PS - I love Huey Lewis!
Terrie - Seeing Boz Scaggs would certainly be cause for flashbacks. Thanks for the heads up.
Do not miss The Yellowjackets with Mike Stern!
That will be on excellent show.
And the Reno-Tahoe Blues fest should be a great one too.
Beautiful setting, great music, wonderful people.
If I was there, I'be be attending for sure!
That sounds like a great deal and lots of fun. Wish I lived closer. Sounds like a great line up.
Thank you everyone for your comments! I am looking forward to seeing a couple of the events, I wish I could make all of them!
OMG I love Huey!!!!! Wish I could come!
I used to go to Music Festivals quite often but then ticket prices got out of control. If one wanted to go to all the events, one would easily be bankrupt.
Terrie looks like there is a lot going on in your neck of the woods when it comes to music - ENJOY!
Hi Terrie -- What a fun time and what I would imagine is a very scenic site to host! There is nothing better than music in the summertime, especially under the stars! :-)))
Hey Terrie - I guess if we are not having fun it's our own fault. Thanks for the great blog!
Sorry for the hiccup on this post this morning Terrie. I didn't mean to 'remove' it from this group - Just meant to end the feature since Summer is over. You can ignore the email it sent over to you. Thanks!
