We don't have the joy of the field teams in our area. But we are going to see the Giants tomorrow. It was a "must", since we saw them on Memorial Day and the 4th of July.

Hi Terrie~ I sure miss the baseball days with my boys.  The time went by so quickly.  Enjoy it while you can!  Did you ever get your FB account fixed?

Vickie ~ We defiantly are getting our fair share of youth sports in our family! But we love it and try to enjoy every minute of it.

I am currently locked out of Facebook! My account was disabled when I reported a hacker and I am still trying to get back in to save all of my "friends" and other great Facebook stuff! I hope to be able to access it this week. Thank you again for your concern and taking the time to call me and to let me know what was happening! I really appreciate it!

Terrie!  Baseball and youth sports, I sure do miss those days.  Have a great time with your kids as they will soon be grown.  I always loved T-Ball, those little kids really try their hardest.

I wondered why you had not been on Facebook lately, just know we miss you!

Good Morning Terri,

Sounds like you have a fun day planned.  A few weeks ago our church group went to the Erie Seawolves game.  It's not the big leagues, but so much fun for families and friends.

Enjoy the game.

what a great innaugural season they've had!  Virtually everyone I know that caught a game said they have a blast.  Nice to see the fine Reno minor league tradition continued.

Terrie - This is a great post! And they have SUCH a nice stadium too. I am really so happy we have baseball here. We are Red Sox fans and it's just too far to Fenway ;-)

Terrie:  This seems awful early for a season to end.  Now, I'm not familiar with minor league baseball... but is this the case with all the leagues ?  DFW has the Texas Rangers... and there is a minor league team in Frisco, Texas... which is a suburb of Dallas.  I wonder if their season ends then, too ?

These maps are so cool... and can be so funny when checked out.  I clicked on the link for the Aces stadium... just to see what the aerial view was like... and there it was... bare ground !  I'm sure the map was several years old... and all the satellite view showed was the bare ground that apparently had just been cleared in preparation for construction to begin.  It was very interesting seeing what it looked like as construction was just starting to take place.

Terrie - Awesome post - really catches the flavor of the game!  It's exciting to have this type of sport in our area!  Great job!

Glad to find your blog when searching baseball. As a Realtor in Phoenix, I have had the chance to work with many baseball players. I hope to catch a game at the new ball park in the 2nd season. Reno is not far and it would be a grat family experience.
