I never imagined that when I called my sister who lives in Columbus, Ohio on Wednesday to give her a hard time about the snow weather that were having, that I would be land locked just four days later!
I was actually driving around town checking on my properties with the windows down! But I am not complaining! I love the snow and so does my boxer, Wonda, who could play for hours in it.
It's a snow day in Northern Nevada! My kids are just hoping the snow will continue to fall thru out the day so tomorrow will be an official "Snow Day" which would mean no school for washoe county!
I just looked out my front window and saw my neighbor snow blowing my driveway for me! Thank goodness for awesome neighbors! Thank you Gene!

Well, at least it looks like someone is having fun!!!
Your photos are wonderful. I have also been closed up for several days lately because of ice and snow. Most of the time ours disappesrs rather quickly but this year it has been a different matter. It has been so cold that it stayed around for a long period.
Thank goodness for helpful neighbors, especially those with the right machinery. Hope your kids get some snowmen built before it all goes away.
Wow we don't have snow like that in Vegas!
Nu
Ralph ~ LOL! She is totally having fun and I was dreading all the shoveling that needed to be done. Luckily my awesome neighbor stepped up and saved the day!
Allen ~ I am sure our snow will melt away quickly as well! We do not generally get the cold weather for very long! I hope your area will warm up quickly.
Wanda ~ The kids are working on the Snowman right now! I think the guilt would have got the best of my neighbor if he didn't do my driveway. He knows my husband is working!
Nu Nu ~ I didn't know you were an AR member, I am coming over to visit your blog! And, no Vegas does not get this much snow, just an occasional little storm here and there.
The country has certainly experienced a different kind of winter this year. I have a daughter in Reno. My young grand-daughters are lovin' the white stuff.
Terrie - it looks like your dog is having a blast. My dog has yet to see the snow but I know he would enjoy it!
Myrl ~ It is raining right now so all the snow is melting away. That's the thing about Reno weather, it changes daily so we have to enjoy what each day brings because tomorrow it will bring something different.
Thank you Sharon ~ It is great to hear from you!
Terrie! Your photos remind me of Missouri this year! Our schools have had lots of snow days this year and most likely could be going to school in July if the weather doesn't change for the better. Your dog is like mine, love the snow! What a great neighbor you have to clean your drive as after awhile it gets expensive when you must pay someone to do the snow removal. Have a great weekend!
