A sure sign spring has arrived in Sparks, Nevada:
My boxer, Wonda, has been very busy in the yard lately. I knew things were blooming and little critters were starting to come out and play again. But it wasn't until I noticed she was garding one of our backyard shrubs rather closely what she was really up to!

I found this little bunning hiding (well trying to hide) while Wodna hovered over. It looks like Wonda may have gotten a little to close, but luckily I found her to be OK, just a little scared!

So there it is, a sure sign spring has sprung in Northern Nevada. A baby bunny. They are everywhere right now! They love to eat sagebrush, shrubs and flowers! Jack Rabbits and Pygmy Rabbits love the dry Nevada climate. If you live here in Nevada, you are certain to have seen them in your yards, your parks and just about everywhere sagebrush grows!

Those pets can be mischievious. Great looking dog.
Hi Terrie: Wanda sure does look very guilty...so glad you saved the bunny. My dogs love the squirrels, these smart little squirrels know just how close they can come to the invisible fence and still be safe, but I should offer them a little advice....one of these days you may not be quite so lucky!
Terrie - Wonda is adorable, how old is she? My husband was just commenting this evening if we ever decided to get a big dog he'd want a boxer.
